Even Numbers
- A number is even if it can be divided by 2 without leaving a remainder.
- Examples: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12…
- Even numbers often appear in pairs or groups that can be split evenly.
- Fun Tip: Even numbers always end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.
Odd Numbers
- A number is odd if it cannot be divided by 2 evenly (it leaves a remainder of 1).
- Examples: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11…
- Odd numbers often appear in groups where one element is left unpaired.
- Fun Tip: Odd numbers always end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.
